I guess they are the ordinary plastic white window blinds…
Anyways, wiping them down with a damp rag is kinda hard to do! The blinds keep moving and the dirt is just still sticking to the blinds. I was just wondering if there is an easier way to do it?
Hello,
We just moved into a new house in Oklahoma City and my bedroom window is the kind that opens up by sliding it to the right or left. So, There isn’t a space or gap at the top where blinds usually go. Is there a way to put blinds on the window by hanging it above the window? If so, where can I get these and what kind?
OKC Blinds Cleaning Tips
Clean wood blinds without taking them down with a window blinds duster or a brush attachment for the vacuum. Same for shades, verticals and shutters. You can also use a damp dust cloth to clean window treatmetns. Bottom line, all the methods are pretty tedious due to the strings in the middle of the blinds.

Just would like to know as I have previously owned both plastic and wooden window blinds and they have both snapped over the years. I am thinking that metal (I think they are aluminium) would be the answer to everything. Does anyone know a windot treatment store in Oklahoma City that has a large selection of metal window blinds?
in my house, we’re replacing our decade-old carpet with new cork flooring in Oklahoma City. however, that means that the tv cables and internet wires currently running beneath the carpet will have to be moved. what would you recommend with what to do with the wires…since i assume it would be difficult to run wires under a cork floor.
I have purchased 72″ x 72″ Roman Shades for my Oklahoma City home. Problem is that it is an old house and all the windows are different, ex: 67″, 60″, 69″, etc. I need to trim each blind to fit and need to know the best way to go about it. What type of saw? Would a circular saw work, or a table saw etc?
I just got new retro-fit windows in my house and I love them! But now my old blinds don’t fit anymore. That’s okay because I was ready for a change anyway.
I would like to order white wood or faux-wood blinds for many of the windows. Where is the best place to get them? I have looked at blinds.com and that looks good, and I am thinking about having Budget Blinds come out and give me an estimate.
Has anyone had any good or bad experience with either of these companies, or any other nationally operating companies? Thanks for any suggestions!
